Child Safety Standards

Last updated: September 17, 2026

1. Purpose and scope

Clapp Labs Inc. ("Clapp", "we", "us") operates the Clapp mobile application and the website clapp.world. These Child Safety Standards explain how Clapp prohibits, detects, reports, and acts against child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Clapp is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. Even so, we maintain child safety standards because user-generated content and social features must never be used to harm minors.

2. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

Clapp explicitly prohibits Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Users may not create, upload, share, request, promote, link to, threaten to distribute, or otherwise facilitate CSAE or CSAM on Clapp.

  • Any sexual content involving a minor or a person who appears to be a minor
  • Grooming, sexual solicitation, enticement, coercion, sextortion, or blackmail involving a minor
  • Trafficking, recruiting, arranging, or advertising a minor for sexual exploitation
  • Sexualized comments, captions, imagery, links, or instructions directed at or involving minors
  • Attempts to evade moderation or move CSAE or CSAM activity to another service

3. Enforcement

When Clapp identifies CSAE, CSAM, or credible child safety risk, we may remove or reject the content, disable or suspend accounts, restrict access to features, preserve relevant evidence, and take any additional action needed to protect users and comply with the law.

Where appropriate or legally required, Clapp reports apparent CSAM or CSAE to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), relevant regional authorities, and/or law enforcement. We cooperate with valid legal requests related to child safety investigations.

4. Reporting child safety concerns

Users can report content in the Clapp app through the report option available on posts. Users may also block accounts when that feature is available in the relevant profile or content surface.

For urgent child safety concerns, reports involving CSAE or CSAM, or questions about these standards, contact Clapp Labs Inc. at hello@clapp.world with the subject line: Child Safety - Clapp.

5. Child safety point of contact

Clapp Labs Inc. designates hello@clapp.world as its child safety point of contact for Google Play and for external child safety communications. Reports sent to this address are reviewed for child safety urgency.

6. Legal compliance

Clapp complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations. We do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts, and if we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we may remove the account and associated personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Updates

Clapp may update these Child Safety Standards as our product, laws, or safety practices evolve. The latest version will remain publicly available on clapp.world.
